Breakfast is without a doubt, the most important meal of the day but if you’re always pressed for time in the mornings, chances are, you are often skipping breakfast! Classic Ham and Cheese Omelet on Toast

A great morning starts always start with delicious and nutritious breakfast and nothing could be more satisfying than a classic ham and cheese omelet! You can use your breakfast station’s griddle and toaster to cook a breakfast omelet within minutes, here’s how:

You will need:

2 eggs
½ cup of milk
Diced ¼ onions
1 sliced ham
2 slices of bread
A pinch of salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste

In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs and milk until blended. Stir in diced onions, ham, and set aside. Heat the griddle and pour the mixture into the pan. Add a pinch of salt and cook until the egg mixture has set. As the omelet cooks, get two slices of bread and chuck them in the toaster, browning for five minutes or less. Go back to the griddle and sprinkle shredded cheese on the first half of the omelet then fold the other half. Get a plate, lay the toast first and top with the omelet. Finish up by sprinkling freshly grounded pepper!

Pizza Toast

If you’re getting tired of buttered toast, you can use your breakfast station to give the classic morning toast a much-needed upgrade! And it won’t take you no more than 10 minutes to do it.

You’ll need:

2 slices of bread
Your choice of pizza or pasta sauce
A handful of Mozzarella cheese
Sliced button mushrooms
Sliced ham
Julienned green bell peppers

Start by prepping your ingredients. You’ll need several slices of bread (depends on the number of people who’ll join you for breakfast), your choice of pasta or pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, your choice of toppings (we love sliced ham, peperoni, sliced button mushrooms, and green bell peppers). Preheat your toaster for five minutes until it’s nice and hot.

As you preheat, arrange the ingredients: spoon a little pasta or pizza sauce on the bread, edge to edge, add your favorite toppings, and sprinkle a little shredded cheese. Pop these babies in the oven toaster and cook for five to ten minutes. As you wait for the pizza, use your breakfast station to brew your favorite cuppa joe and in five minutes, you have a filling meal!

Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Hash

This recipe combines two of our favorite breakfast items: bacon and eggs, yum! And yes, you can use your oven toaster to make hash, just make sure you prep your ingredients right.

You’ll need:

2 slices of bacon
3 small potatoes, diced
¼ cup fresh tomato, sliced
1 egg
¼ cup shredded cheese

Get a double layer tin foil and lay the bacon strips. Dice the potatoes and tomatoes and put them on top of the bacon. Crack an egg on top of the heap, and mold the tin foil into a bowl. Chuck the whole thing in the oven toaster and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. While waiting, start making toasts to go with your breakfast hash and coffee. Easy peasy!

S’mores French Toast

Why make a simple French toast when you can make yummy S’mores French toast for you and the kids?

You’ll need:

2 slices of bread
1 jar of chocolate spread
4 to 6 pieces of marshmallow
1 egg
¼ cup milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Maple syrup

Start by laying the marshmallow on a tin foil and melting it using the toaster. Once the marshmallow is nice and melted, spread the chocolate spread on one slice of bread then a layer of melted marshmallow on the other slice of bread.

In a bowl, mix your egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Dip the sandwich into the mixture and heat the griddle with butter. Fry the sandwich 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Finish up with a drizzle of maple syrup!


Peanut Butter & Jelly Banana

This is a quick and easy breakfast meal that doubles as dessert!

You’ll need:

1 banana
¼ cup peanut butter
¼ cup jelly or jam (your choice of flavor)
1 tablespoon ground granola

Start by splitting the banana in the middle with a knife and then cradling the fruit in a boat-shaped tinfoil. Spread a thick layer of peanut butter in between the halved banana then follow up with a generous layer of jelly. Sprinkle the granola on top of the jelly/jam and peanut butter before sticking the whole thing in the toaster. Bake on high for 10 to 15 minutes and you’re done. While waiting, why don’t you brew a cup of coffee to go with your dessert breakfast?

Toasted Bacon n’ Eggs Cups

A quick and easy breakfast dish that doubles as a filling snack for hungry kids!

You will need:

2 slices of bread
4 strips of bacon
4 eggs
salt and pepper to taste

To begin, brush a thin layer of oil on a muffin pan. Using the breakfast station’s griddle (assuming that it has one, otherwise do your frying in a pan), fry the bacon for 2 to 3 minutes until almost crispy. Set aside. Trim the bread crust and break each slice in half, Press the halved piece of bread into the muffin tray forming a cup.

Place the bacon inside the bread in a circular shape then crack an egg into each “cup.” Add a dash of salt and pepper before sticking the muffin tray in the oven toaster and baking until the egg whites set. Serve hot and enjoy!

Apricot, Ham, and Brie Open Sandwich

Yet another filling and delicious breakfast on the go that won’t take less than 10 minutes to make using your breakfast station!

You will need:

4 slices black forest ham
½ wedge of Brie cheese, sliced
4 slices of ripe Apricot fruit (or 2 tablespoon Apricot preserve to substitute)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
4 slices of Italian bread
1 tablespoon olive oil

Assemble the sandwich by layering the ingredients, ham first then slices of brie cheese, slices of Apricot fruit or 1 tablespoon of apricot preserves, and mustard on the bread. Brush the top of the open-faced sandwich with olive oil before sticking it in the oven until cheese is melty and the bread has browned. Serve hot with coffee and enjoy!

Baked Eggs in Marinara Sauce

Make mornings better with this tasty, super cheesy breakfast dish!

You will need:

2 eggs
1/4 cup Marinara sauce
1 teaspoon capers, drained
A handful of parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Whipping cream
Chives as garnish

Get 2 ramekins and pour the marinara sauce in the base. Add the capers then crack an egg into each container. Top the eggs with a little whipping cream and parmesan cheese, enough to cover the top of the yolk. Sprinkle salt and pepper then bake in the toaster oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives. Serve with buttered toast and hot coffee.


Pita Chips with Dip

Great as a quick morning meal or as a snack, this dish is a great alternative to your usual breakfast toast.

You will need:

4 tablespoons za’atar
5 tablespoons olive oil
2 large pitas
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon mint, chopped
1 small garlic clove, grated or minced
1/8 teaspoon salt

Preheat your toaster oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, mix the olive oil and za’atar to form a paste. Spoon the mixture on the pita bread from edge to edge. Repeat with remaining pita. Lay the pita bread in a baking tray, stick in the oven toaster and bake until the pita has browned. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into wedge.

To make the dip, combine the Greek yogurt with salt and garlic. Serve together with the pita chips.

Toasted Chicken Quesadillas

You will need:

2 green onions
2 cup roasted chicken meat, skinless and shredded
1½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 pickled jalapeño chili
¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
4 large flour tortillas
¾ cup salsa Verde
½ cup reduced-fat sour cream

Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F. Slice the onions and set aside. Divide the chicken, cheese, jalapeño, cilantro, and green onion on one side of the tortilla and fold the other half. Line the toaster tray with foil, lay the quesadillas and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cut the quesadillas in half and serve with a side of salsa Verde and sour cream.
